Ha! My daughter pointed out that his tendency to steal teabags from the bin and suck them is a sure sign he identifies as British. However, we also considered his lack of reserve & belief that everyone wants to be his friend as distinctly American. :-p https://twitter.com/Gil_Ant/status/957602017584799744 …

After all, who is who bounds up to you on the London Underground and enthusiastically introduces themselves? Labradors and Americans. #YouKnowItsTrue #DealWithIt

Hehe. I haven't been rude to Americans for ages. It makes a nice change from insulting the French. It's difficult to out-insult the French. They built a whole culture around it. Americans mostly defend their honour with pictures of eagles and profanity which is always fun.

Oh, I will. Twitter will hear all about it. I expect to be affectionately rude. That's always fun. My perception of Americans is that they are more open and friendly than us so, if so, that will be nice. Love your new profile pic. So pretty.

I think we're definitely more open. But friendly depends a lot on where you go.

Business or pleasure? If you come to the Los Angeles area I’d be thrilled to buy tickets to hear you speak. That would be a most excellent father-daughter (17) evening out.

Keep your British accent when in the U.S. you will sound sophisticated and smart. The accent can be very intimidating to some Americans. Good luck
