I will criticise traditional gender roles and blank slatism because they are both ideologically-motivated nonsense & annoying. We are overlapping populations. I'll still defend your right to believe & express annoying nonsense.

Gender roles are ideologically motivated nonsense?

Yes. As averse to gender differences. Advocating set roles doesn't map with the reality of men and women as overlapping populations. We don't need to tell people what their roles are. They will find them if left alone & patterns emerge coz of gender differences.

How does one dismantle that? Television is the strongest tool of persuasion in our arsenal. And while I agree with you, I personally think that "Sex and the City" has done far more cultural damage than "The Brady Bunch".

Dismantle what? I'm afraid I don't know either of those shows. People can be persuaded by them if they wish. Whichever they are inclined to be persuaded by will probably indicate their own preferences.

Dismantle the hold that gender roles have on western culture. Sorry that wasn't a clear thought. Propaganda via entertainment has far more reach than you know & it's only made worse by the fact that 98% of the people creating the entertainment represent the current far left.

Just don't do them if you don't want to. Support other people who don't. Raise your kids to know they have the choice. Yes, I am less of a cultural constructivist than you, it seems. I think people largely find their own way despite culture. It's what I look at historically

As a person who was raised in front of a television, I have reason to understand the world in those terms. Since children are even more immersed in visual media than I was, and since that media is peddling far left ideology, I think there's cause for concern.

I think that perception might be biased tho. There's still very many representations of traditional gender roles and many more characters are white & heterosexual than matches the general population for it to be that far-leftist.

You should just take a quick look at Netflix. There are more white people (hetero and homosexual) in the entertainment industry, that's just reality, but the ideology being peddled is very much the far left.

I don't think so. Whenever I catch something, I find myself thinking how problematic the far left would find it.
