Thing is, if I refrain from making points out of fear that there are exceptions to the rule, I'll never be able to say anything again.

What is the rule here? Nonetheless, I don't think I implied you refrain. Not my intention. For what's it's worth, I'd suggest you familiarize yourself with postmodernism (which is very broad with extreme ends) and intersectionality as I don't find your portrayal accurate.

I believe I'm familiar with them already, but would be happy to hear what you think I've got wrong.

Well, as you previously pointed out, we can't expect the nuances of an essay from a tweet so I'm afraid I can't go into the ins and outs of postmodernism here.

But you still haven't told me how my portrayal was "unfaithful" in any meaningful sense of the term. That is what I'd like to know.

Okay, this is the kind of conversation I would have normally ignored as underlying motivations usually to catch the other/play 'gatcha' game or even disrespectful scorn but since you insist, I'll assume that your intentions are positive & you genuinely want to know what I think.

Your caricature: "Postmodernists deny race & gender but hate white men" Here's why I think ur caricature is unfaithful. Postmodernism is too broad to define into a single thing (never mind as something that exclusively w race & gender (not even gonna go into hate of white men))

I'm writing a thing on that now. When people talk about how postmodernism is affecting social justice issues right now, that is what they're talking about. The fact that it also included some good art & architecture & some interesting ideas is not what is being critiqued.
