The great British pastime of complaining about the weather just doesn't work online. Canadians and Australians are particularly unsympathetic to my whinges about cold and heat.

I'm married to one. We live in #Sweden. He watches the @BBC weather news every single morning (repeatedly) and then complains about the Swedish weather. And we haven't even had any bloody snow/ice this year! "It's so grey." Sheesh. #WeatherWhingers

We talk about the weather incessantly, as well. I suspect that the lack of sympathy is due to the extreme weather we have in our own countries.

I live in a Mediterranean climate, and even I'm vastly amused by British complaints of "extreme" weather

To say the least! It’s -24 C this morning (Montreal area) which won’t stop me from walking to the grocery store 4 km from here. I’ll just walk more briskly (maybe take the bus back tho😏).

I was ones told by a Scot, don't say it's bad weather, instead wait an hour, it's even worse then or it's bright again.
