I didn't say that. We can't ever go back before it, but I share some of the misgivings around it, I don't think it's right for every country and culture, and it functions very differently in different states too.

I can't say liberal democracy is the best system, put it that way. I mean I personally probably could - but I'm a westerner, so of course I could. My Iraqi neighbours would find it more difficult.

This is a different claim. 'This system is best' vs 'every culture thinks this system is best.' We all know people differ on what is best. We have to make arguments about that.
