I have not been able to say 'Twitter' out loud without it sounding weird ever since @GodDoesnt, under the influence of several beers, decided to use the word to practice an English accent as we walked along Manly Beach. 'Twit-tah! Twit-tah!'
I do not sound like that. (OK, I do)

I used to get my mother to say "Cougahs eat bananars", and then we'd all laugh and everyone but me would have tea.

I don't sound like the rest. You've heard me. I sound like a saltwater hillbilly.

I can't tell the difference between anyone from that part of the world unless they're really, really southern.

I've had people from down James' way (OK, South Carolina) ask me if I was from Georgia or Texas. On several occasions. They thought I sounded MORE southern than them. I talk slow, but not a drawl.
