I am not insulted by being told men are not the default humans and that women have different interests on average.

No, never
-
No one you ever worked with ever showed interest in you (whether you liked them in turn or not)?
-
I’m not sure if you’re getting at this to insult me or whether this has happened so often you can’t believe it hasn’t happened to someone else, but no, never an unwanted advance from a coworker or superior
-
Because the word "unwanted" often comes up in these discussions. Someone one interested in making a pass would be ok vs a someone one is not interested in making the same pass would be interpreted as harassment to some people.
-
For what it's worth, if someone asked me out on a date and I declined, I would not count that as unwanted. If they repeated to do so, then yeah. Not sure how the question is phrased.
-
That said: I think a superior asking you out is always inappropriate & should always be treated as unwanted, first time or no.
