"Not to be a twat..." You pushed through pretty well. :) Look, I'm very sympathetic to your position, because I'm also on the Left, but have to argue with Lefties all the time. We are in this weird time where the (far) Right says: "A is true, and A implies B, so B is true." 1/

I can't point to anything in your arguments that I could claim is "wrong." But I think it could be made to resonate with the Left more. Like, Haidt's MFT says that the Left is motivated by the harm/care foundation almost exclusively. 1/

So why not a focus on how believing either (not A) or (A, and A implies B) is causing real harm. How are atheists and gays treated in many Muslim majority countries? Doesn't a Liberal activist have a responsibility respond to this? 2/
-
Doesn't ignoring it, or pretending it doesn't exist cause real harm in terms of human lives? 3/

Silence from Liberals who have the freedom to safely combat the belief in "death for apostates" is in turn helping an oppressive ideology silence (and kill) the most marginalized people. 4/

And this is just the start. On all those issues in Pinker's video, the Enlightenment Left needs to argue "A, but A does not imply B, and believing anything else is going to cause real physical harm." In my (not particularly) humble opinion. 5/5

I think I do that quite a lot!http://conatusnews.com/western-centric-intersectional-feminism/ …
