Yes, but that quote was a good deal more than 280 characters. Also, misgendering trans people is harmful to them. This is a fact corroborated by medical professionals. So, asking not to be misgendered is no more authoritarian than asking not to be assaulted.

Yes. Respecting trans people is all they want. By calling it "compelling other people to accept your idea of gender," you're poorly masking your transphobia at being unable to consider a trans woman a woman, or a trans man a man.
