The way I understand transgenderism is that most people are male men and female women. But there are some male women, and some female men. It's the idea that woman/man describes gender, and male/female describes sex. Does this make sense to you?

Yes, in a sense but that comes down to semantics more than I would like.

Yah, it is pretty semantic. But I think sex is determined by biology, and gender is something that's fluid. It basically comes down to the idea that people should be free to live however they want, as a man or a woman. But you're not free to decide which chromosomes you've got.

Or what brain you've got or hormones or genetics and they all come into gender identity.

Agreed. But if a biological male with male hormones and brain and chromosomes decides they want to live as a woman they should be free to do that. But they're not free to tell me that I need to consider them to have female hormones, brain, chromosomes etc.

Wait, not free to live as a woman, or not free to tell me I need to consider them to have the female biology? I think I know which you mean..

Not free to tell you what to think.
