I'd like there to be some kind of reasonable middle ground and pragmatic solutions re: trans issues. Like agreeing that the struggle of trans people is real and finding ways to alleviate it. But without such nonsense like "female penises" or "the cotton ceiling".

Have you gotten any positive feedback from trans people about this? I'm asking because while I have found some sane looking trans ppl on Twitter it seems to me that the discourse is still dominated by the lunatic fringe.

The thing is that most trans people don't want to be 'out' as trans. They just want to be accepted as their gender. But yes, some.

Understandable. Personally, I do try to perceive trans ppl as their gender as much as possible but in return I want them to acknowledge biological reality in situations where it matters.
