If you take responsibility for an animal, you take the whole animal. You don’t just chop off the bits you don’t like. Much like kids, really. But maybe that’s just me.https://twitter.com/hpluckrose/status/949342954480721926 …
But they you either end up with lots of puppies you can't afford or you don't let them socialise and run offlead with other dogs.

Neutering your dog is the responsible thing to do for lots of reasons.

I refer you to my previous tweet.

You’re anthropomorphising!
He won’t miss his “bits” and he’ll be healthier and happier in the long term. And he won’t run away from home chasing females, a major cause of early death by traffic accident/irate farmers etc. -
Anthropomorphising? Probably. As you’re probably underestimating the intelligence of dogs.
Just bc they don’t understand how or why doesn’t mean they don’t notice when something goes missing.
Healthier? Maybe.
Happier? There’s no way to know, but I very much doubt it. -
OK
we’ll have to agree to disagree I suppose. Meanwhile, here’s our (neutered) hound who seems perfectly content with life!pic.twitter.com/PkqDazp5s3
