There's definitely a two fronts in the war for truth. Do you think objective truth exists? And if so, can we apprehend it was humans?

Yes. To the extent that is relevant. A bee might see the patterns on a foxglove that we can't but we can use it to treat heart disease. It is objectively true that it does that.

Yes. I agree. There is a way things are, which is what I think of as truth. And there are many true things that we can't comprehend because of our limited animal minds. But some of this truth is knowable.

What about objective moral truths?

You'd need to set a premise and then you can work things out objectively according to it. The most obvious one is 'Promote wellbeing, avoid harm' but this still isn't really objective because the universe doesn't care if we torture each other to death.

Yes but that's unique to us. If you want to say 'human' rather than 'objective', I'm with you.

If by 'objective', we mean 'common to humans', yes. But it's not universal because we only inhabit one planet and are limited by our perceptions. There could be an objective morality that applies to the whole universe but we only have a human one.

And that's pretty much all we need, tbh. Of course it focuses on avoidance of suffering and increase of wellbeing because we are animals with central nervous systems capable of pleasure and pain and possessing of empathy for others pleasure and pain.
