Well, it seems I can sleep for 8 hours in every 24 and wake up refreshed and energised and headache free but only if I do this from 5AM to 1PM. This is not practical. I have a child to see off to school and doggies to walk & appointments and shit.

If I try to sleep from 11PM to 7AM, I will manage about 4 hours within that time for about 3 nights, then get so tired, I sleep 8 but then have another 3 nights of 4 hours again and just generally feel tired & hungry & headachy ALL THE TIME. Fuck you, body clock.

Also, I decided to actually get a grown-up expensive phone for Christmas seeing that I am actually a grown-up & people need me to be contactable on various apps and whilst out & shit but I have already lost it. FFS. Maybe I am not a grown up.

OK, so I have found my phone but this has led me to instructions on setting up accounts and doing various tech stuff so:pic.twitter.com/94ieiW9ZCF

Note to self. Don't message physicist friends at work to whine abt this. Him: "Excuse me while I interrupt my programming of a quantum mechanics simulation in 100s of dimensions to sympathise with you about having to type in a password every so often."

OK, OK. Time to stop moaning about how much I have to do and how late I am getting started and actually do it. See you all later.

You could try a bi/polyphasic sleep pattern. Sleep 2-4 times a day. Apparently it works just fine... here's a thing about ithttps://theconversation.com/did-we-used-to-have-two-sleeps-rather-than-one-should-we-again-57806 …

Eh? But... doesn't EVERYone?!? Agree with sleeping 2+ times a day, as soon as you feel sleepy. I can drop off for 2-4 hours at 1pm, 7pm or 3am. It's up to the rest of the world to accommodate me!
