I'm not sure I understand? The manifesto is explicitly written in an obtuse, over-the-top style of early modernist manifestos (so appeal is obviously specific!), though at the same time speaks of an absolute sincerity in every word for movement beyond its state.

Early modernist? The juxtaposition of contradictions and attempts to reconcile them and appeal to plurality is much more postmodernist. Resists clarification.

It just isn't relevant. If its only art, I don't need to concern myself with it. In the same way, I don't need to tell writers of vampire fiction that they don't exist because they were never claiming they do.
