Not all but most of my feelings, like my memories, don't deserve primacy as they are transient and unreliable. Can be quite upset about something and an hour later meh. Short emotional attention span? Meanwhile reality chugs along, indifferent.

It depends entirely on what it is. Should our feelings of attraction & love take precedence over facts on who we should date. Absolutely. You can tell someone they shld be attracted to the opposite sex because that is how the species perpetuates itself. Won't make any difference

You can tell women they should have children for various factual reasons. If they don't like children & don't want children, they shldn't have them. You could also tell one she shld have an abortion for factual reasons but the emotional harm this wld do if she wants that baby...

The correct saying is "Facts don't care about your feelings", not "your feelings don't matter". Used properly, the point is that asking other people to deny objective reality in order to salve your hurt feelings is too much. Asking them to be kind about your hurt feelings is fine
