Right now the problem, apparently, is not the existential political polarisation, the postmodern influence on the left & the rise of the premodern populist right in response to this & also the refugee crisis. No. It's a divergence from traditional gender roles.

Gosh. How wrong have I been getting politics? I'd better stop thinking and writing about it & have more babies whilst I still have time.

My political plan is to make bacon mandatory. Every fridge must contain it. Those with religious or so called "moral" reasons not to eat bacon may store said bacon in an opaque airtight container. Failure to have bacon in your house will be grounds for immediate incarceration.
-
I'm not seeing the downsides tbh
-
You can’t eat the last bit of bacon because then there will be no bacon in your fridge.
-
Noooo!!!
-
Thus encouraging people to keep track of the bacon. When stocks become low, replenish bacon. It's not rocket surgery!
-
But what about the people who can't remember to stock the bacon? We need a national bacon service.
-
From each according to their bacon, to each according to their bacon.
-
At least we have found Helen a role in this brave new world: she can make the bacon sammiches.

Given that there are far fewer women in politics than men, and that politics is generally fucked up no matter where you look at it, you'd think that might ring some kind of bell for men wouldn't you.

The American Congress & President demonstrate how wonderful it is to have men in politics. (Sarcasm)
