Not really likely, but that doesn't solve the problem of whether it's unethical/unwise. It's taboo to the left—but is it bad *at all*? Just desiring an ethnostate (for mere preference/legitimate racial differences)—not violence, demonization, false info about race

are you a fan of ethnostates? it does solve the problem, it requires violence & breach of human rights & rights of citizens, to be implemented, same with communism (forgetting that it's not sustainable) . i'm leaving it here, really don't care about ethno solution issue is speech

No, and it doesn't answer the question of whether desiring an ethnostate is *itself* evil, *aside* from questions of violence and the practicalities of implementing it. You've said you don't think it would lead to good outcomes, which is certainly plausible.

You can imagine a hypothetical state that is already 100% one ethnicity, deciding to become an ethnostate and formally identify its state with its ethnicity. No policy change is needed except to ban all future immigration. Would that be bad?

But I also think multiculturalism is dangerous and we should avoid its extension.

There is reason to think multiculturalism causes tensions because these are conflicting values but this is about race which is value free. There's nothing ethical to get hold of here unless we assume that cultural values & race correlate exactly.

Which they don't. One of my daughters is white, the other is brown. Their values are essentially the same as mine with some individual variation. Brown one a little more right, white one a little more left. Obviously, I'd think it unethical if former were to be banished.

I think banishing is clearly bad, but I'm merely trying to distinguish the moral status of the ideal from the methods. Presumably there are ways of working towards an ethnostate, or preserving an existing defacto homogenous state, which are peaceful.
