Yes, it's not that the bullying is nastier when its from far-left loons but that it is harder to brush off because it has public respectability & threatens people's careers and reputations.https://forward.com/opinion/390296/its-time-to-call-out-bullying-by-social-justice-warriors/ …

When we finish work I always stay behind and wait for my female colleague who has the keys to finish setting the alarm and locking the doors to make sure she is ok and no one tries to force entry etc. No longer sure if that makes me a gentlemen or misogynist?
-
I'd suggest neither! But a thoughtful co-worker!

Not directly relevant but I’ve always been confused by the term misogyny. I suppose I think of it referring not to traditional patriarchal men at all but rather to men who are deeply resentful of women owing to generalization from past perceived slights, romantic rejections etc
-
And the roots of misogyny, such as it is,seem so obviously an attempt to deflect attention from a man’s flaws and romantic failures , so it seems to stem from a place of weakness (?) which would seem the opposite of the patriarchal orientation (?)
-
Absolutely. Tho they could also be deeply resentful of women not sticking to traditional roles.
