There is certainly a tendency to reject statistical facts if they don't fit your ideology - tho' I suspect it's easier to spot other people doing this than ourselves!

Which is why it is better not have an ideology which requires facts to fit it and go instead with what is indicated and insist on treating everyone as individuals anyway for ethical reasons.

Certainly ideology should have no place in deciding questions which are essentially factual (albeit difficult to answer). Though I think whatever the answer to the biology/culture issue, there are still legitimate ethical debates about education, policy, etc.

Yes. These are different issues and biology doesn't call for men or women to be constrained anyway.
