There is certainly a tendency to reject statistical facts if they don't fit your ideology - tho' I suspect it's easier to spot other people doing this than ourselves!

Certainly ideology should have no place in deciding questions which are essentially factual (albeit difficult to answer). Though I think whatever the answer to the biology/culture issue, there are still legitimate ethical debates about education, policy, etc.

Yes. These are different issues and biology doesn't call for men or women to be constrained anyway.
