@ElmoreLeonard's editor was the late Marjorie Braman for many years and, before her, another woman I don't recall the name of. Editors who bought my first two books were female. -

That doesn’t matter. Since the wording was “less men”, not “more women”, it’s quite clear the point is to rid the whole industry of men. Not to promote women. Hopefully no man every buys their book. We are not worthy to even give it as a present, I presume.
