Trump got elected = evidence of a rape culture? Stats show the vast majority of men not to rape. I'm truly sorry for your experience. It isn't a culture tho.https://twitter.com/CheekyAzzi/status/938917310521372672 …

Does rape culture= a culture in which most men rape? Or a culture where men who rape and abuse are allowed to highest levels of power?

Culture isn't bianary, US culture has, celebrity culture, gun culture, fitness culture, and yes rape culture. If a known sexual abuser can be elected to public office, yes that is evidence that part of our culture minimizes and excuses rape in certain circumstances.

But would a man with less status get away with it? I don’t think so. I think the fact Trump got away with it is due to status/class/power culture, rather than rape culture.

But I can well imagine a culture that idolizes powerful people and high class status but abhors rape enough, that it would instantly lower your power and status.

Maybe we are going to get there, certainly seeing Weinstein fall from grace is a step in the right direction

Ah, you do. Yes, power enabled him to hide his abuse. It didn't enable him to make the world think it was good or acceptable.
