Trump got elected = evidence of a rape culture? Stats show the vast majority of men not to rape. I'm truly sorry for your experience. It isn't a culture tho.https://twitter.com/CheekyAzzi/status/938917310521372672 …
Well, if that's all that rape culture means, sure. We also have a murder, robbery, tax fraud and every other crime culture. It becomes meaningless.

None of those terms are meaningless to talk about the specific problems. E.g. "A culture of corruption existed on the board of directors".
-
Sure. You could say 'a culture of misogyny and abuse existed among the football team' accurately but then you have to keep it there and not extrapolate onto the rest of society.

It's a useful term to use to talk about specific ideas or attitudes that make rape more likely or less likely to be addressed as a problem
-
I think you can call those ideas or attitudes and not extrapolate them onto a whole culture.
-
Yes but if you want to discuss all of the attitudes and ideas and institutions that promote rape or make rape more prevelant, The word is?
