How interested are you in essays where I break down ideas in critical theory - privilege, patriarchy, gender etc - how it works, where it came from, how it's affecting society now, the logical & ethical problems with it?

As someone who's not versed in gender studies, and doesn't know much about the aforementioned things, I'd love to learn more if it's written in an easy to understand manner that doesn't require Ph.D to understand :-)

Bring it. I've only just discovered yourself and @IonaItalia, but I'm fully intending to bring up stuff you've written about in my social theory exam on Monday, if I answer questions on postmodernism and/or feminism.

Where are you studying Pam? It really sounds like I've been lucky. My sociology tutor (Aberdeen University) has some time for Foucault, but happily dismisses most pm stuff on a regular basis.

I think essays like that are drastically needed right now. People are very confused about these ideas and their roots. Also, differentiating between the Motte and Bailey forms of each narrative would be helpful.

OK! Yes, I will give an idea of a reasonable usage of them and the extremes to which they are actually taken.

I love yr writing, but I voted 'no' because I am really sick of critical theory & I don't want more analysis of it, even from you.
