Precisely. The top maths set get the opportunity to spend three days at DisneyLand Paris where they ostensibly do maths stuff but mostly go on Roller Coasters.

Both of my kids traveled with their physics classes to the biggest nearest amusement park. They had to do a 4-6 hour packet of physics problems about the rides before they could ride them. Ok it wasn’t Disney and wasn’t 3 days, but it was a pretty cool thing to do.

Yep, this is much the same. She did it before and we'll pay for her to do it again. :) Mostly being a facetious grump.

We are lucky, as there is a big park 1.5 hours away, and the rides dwarf Disney’s offering without the expense (or travel to Paris, sheesh!). I think I paid for a bus ride, a discounted admission ticket and a T-shirt.

Parisian roller-coasters are more mathematically elegant than roller-coasters anywhere else in the world. If you understood physiscs, you'd already be aware of this...

Our A level maths class got Alternate Towers on similar subterfuge. To be fair, it will be a great experience for her.
