Farmers also preserve life and so do sewage workers. They're not the most important things to do. That varies from individual to individual. As long as people are doing them, the human race will thrive.
Well, sure, that happens all the time. No moral imperative to reproduce so your own culture/religion survives either.

Its immoral to wipe out a cultural subgroup. Its neutral for them to decide not to perpetuate themselves.

It's exactly the reverse. It can be perfectly moral to wipe out a cultural subgroup, e.g. Manson "family", while the fate of their ideology (e.g. self-destruction) is a verdict that history renders on its validity. You can think of history as an impartial metaethical judge.

It's arguable what constitutes a subculture. The Nazis were undoubtedly a culture. I don't think this is silly at all. Might be uncomfortable for you.
