It's probably not a great idea, wouldn't rule it out. How long between the "serving" and the troubles?
I actually fed my laptop some tea by mistake but I tipped it upside down quickly and I think if it had got inside it would just stop working, wouldn't it? It wouldn't say it has no memory? Would it?https://twitter.com/scarface_83/status/938003555683897345 …

I can't think now.

Sorry?

I can't remember. Sorry. That's what that means!
-
Ah, well if it did that might well be the issue, barring hands on troubleshooting

I dunno, if the tea compromised one of the memory sticks maybe your laptop is operating with only half the memory it usually has. If it's complaining about low memory, that is different to low disk space. Deleting stuff from disk won't help with low memory issues.

If it's complaining about low memory, that's probably because you're either doing memory-heavy stuff(IE your available RAM is just full), or a busted ram chip (if you have multiple installed, if you had none left functioning the laptop wouldn't work at all)
-
Primarily: "low memory" *ONLY* refers to available storage space on mobile phones (maybe because they use flash ROM, somewhat similar to RAM), computers generally complain of low disk space for storage issues (and not until at least >75% full (SSDs have reduced lifespan above)
