I know everyone means well with their dieting advice but I need to balance what works with what makes life worth living. My bacon & cheese sandwich accident was not because I didn't know what I should eat but because I really fancied a bacon & cheese sandwich.

Ignore this then, but the problem with diet advice from many is it involves disgusting meals or they are tiny.

For spaghetti bolognaise, I would replace half the pasta with carrot pasta and ensure high veg portions in bolognaise sauce

If the day starts with a big breakfast of porridge, I find it and cups of tea can sustain me till lunch time.
