That's not my critique. I'm saying you're over generalizing based on a lack of evidence. A bad argument is what you're making. But turn it into something else if you find that easier to address.

Then make the counter argument! Write your own essay with examples of feminist organisations opposing victim narratives, patriarchy theory, rape-culture shit, microaggressions etc. It should be easy. I've written several showing the opposite problem.
-
Thank you for finally admitting that you're not looking at both sides of the issue, you have an agenda to promote anti-feminism. Although if you consider that a fully realized essay, your journalism Professor failed you.
-
She admitted no such thing. Don't put words in people's mouths.
-
Which is exactly what she should tell her when she categorizes every other feminist as promoting a victim mentality. Don't be so obvious in your hypocrisy.
-
Have to say, you have spent an awful lot of time criticising while failing miserably to clarify the feminist position you claim to hold. How about letting us know the core principles so we can use some critical thought to decide which ideas have merit?
-
That is the whole point of the argument. I would never presume to be able to clarify the feminist position. It is not a group with members in it, it is a collective of self-identifying individuals. Ignorance is strong in this group.
-
So, all feminists have in common is a self-identifying label - they have no identifiable shared beliefs? And therefore there are no beliefs to criticize? That's a neat trick.
