LOL. The shift in feminism towards victimhood is a figment of my imagination, apparently. I'm not one of many people who have been documenting it for years.https://twitter.com/el_blanc0/status/935198159403352064 …

Prove you wrong? It's your claim. You're responsible for proving your claim. This is based on anecdote and your intuition? You heard about about some stuff happening somewhere? And you're now going to label an entire group of people? It's bad journalism.

Are you victim shaming, Helen? Perhaps you haven’t been the victim of a heinous sexual assault like so many of us have?

Not remotely, no. Do you find people who have been victims of serious sexual assault are more positive about the tendency to self-victimise over nonsense? I find the opposite.

I certainly don't. That's literally the worse thing you could do to yourself after a traumatic experience. Ne @C_loureiroi

No, that is a great thing. But how dare anyone judge others experiences and tell them how to feel or react. For various reasons, not everyone is able to do what you did.

Agreed. But allowing people to feel what they need to and not shaming them for it is certainly not encouraging people to wallow in fear and anxiety.

"And you're now going to label an entire group of people?" It's completely reflexive! She just played the victim card in response to your allegation that feminism is shifting towards victimhood...

You're generalizing off of anecdote. You try to hide your lack of research by theorizing off of your personal experience. It makes for a poorly constructed argument.
