I’m still struggling to see where there is any actual instance of discrimination against men

Slavery was universally acceptable until very recently. So was capital punishment & beating children with sticks. The removal of a foreskin is a much lesser abuse but the justification 'everyone does it' doesn;t work ethically.

I really can’t believe that you think circumcision is comparable to outlawing homosexuality. The comparison is odious.
-
The comparison is on the logical justification. 'It can't be abuse if its not widely condemned' doesn't work & applying it to a more serious abuse of human rights shows why.
-
Well, here are the limits of a logic alone, then. The absence of opposition to ear piercing is evidence that it is unobjectionable; so too circumcision.

I object to it. Wait until they're old enough to understand the pain involved and risk of infection & can decide for themselves. My daughter still says 'no' at 13.
-
That’s your decision, and yours to make.
-
No, it's not. They're not my ears. I have no moral right to put holes in them causing her pain & potentially infection.
