And now I'm letting rip at an intersectional feminist who is apparently very reasonable generally when I should be using the opportunity to find common ground with her and also point out the flaws of intersectionality. I must be tired.

I just get so angry at this 'woman-as-victim' narrative. Some women are victims of awful things and deserve our support & respect even if they are never able to recover. But women as a group are NOT eternally victimised by everything. We are competent adults!

Every individual person is "Not The Same" But this difference in treatment is typically meted out before any attempt at knowing the human being. It simply, stupidly flows from nothing more than their gender identity

But does this really affect women more than men? Seems much more socially acceptable to make negative generalisations about men than women?
