Well if you're trying to get rid of it anyway, you can just end the process in Task Manager
This is the list I seem to have removed it from so it doesn't come up under programmes but it's still there taking up all my memory.https://twitter.com/The_GreyGirl/status/934167568537047046 …

What does that mean?
-
Previous advice is from the husband - he wants to know now if it's a PC or a Mac?
-
Okay, do Ctrl+Alt+Del. go to task manager, got to the processes Tab, find Steam.exe. Highlight it then press the End Process button
-
That closed Steam but its still there.
-
Husband is puzzled - can only suggest a restart at this point.

Can't you just search for the program in "my computer"
-
That's the list I hid it from but I seem to have fixed it now
-
You did?! I swear, how you manage to do these things......

The free version of this is very handy. Lists all your installed programs & runs the uninstaller for you. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download …

Steam doesn't come up in that either. :(

Bugger.
