How the hell does my claim that women are not an oppressed class of victims get read repeatedly as one that women who are victims of sexual violence can go fuck themselves?

My concerns abt victimhood-as-status ideas are two-fold. 1) It leads believers to claim to be victimised by everything thereby making women appear unable to cope with mundane annoyance or even well-intended awkwardness.

2) It encourages women who have been victims of sexual violence to sink utterly under it rather than to strive to recover from it with appropriate support.

The last one is the one which gets misunderstood most. People read it as telling women to just get over it dismissively rather than encouraging them to do so supportively.

Replying to @HPluckrose
I read your point as empowerment not victim blaming. Is my reading of it inaccurate?
