I'm more optimistic that gender identity & why it doesn't always correlate with reproductive systems will be much better understood in the near future but, ethically, this.https://twitter.com/jessesingal/status/933396261369237510 …

I don’t understand. A woman isn’t an idea. There are as many ways of being a woman as there are people w two X chromosomes. To define woman by anything other than those chromosomes is to reduce being female to a stereotype.

And yet, people don't always feel the same gender as their chromosomes and so it seems that chromosomes don't dictate how we feel either sexually or in relation to gender. Latter seems related to white & grey brain cell distribution, genes that act on sex hormones & heredity.

I am trying to hold this idea to some kind of intellectual scrutiny. I am asking people to define what are these ideas called man and woman. If not chromosomes or hormones or bodies. Then what?!? I have n objection to people living however they want. I wish they would.

Well, the science is developing. Seems to be a mix of a number of biological factors.
