So if I understand the trans activist position, you have to use the right pronoun, but nobody could object to the noun ‘TERF’ because it is objectively true

I argued this for a long time - trans-exclusionary radical feminist seems to be a value-free & accurate descriptor. But connotations accrue anyway. Like 'Paki' is a simple abbreviation for 'Pakistani' but got loaded with racism & is best not used.

The way I see it the ‘exclusionary’ in TERF is slippery. Strictly it is right that rad fems exclude trans women from the category woman. But they do not exclude them from society.
