That's not establishing a causal effect, though. It's not like marriage is randomly assigned, there is some pretty sever selection bias, so the differences in outcomes can't reliably be attributed to single parenthood.
But it is unclear that this is causation rather than that lasting marriage is a symptom of a personality type which also has other benefits.

eg, are people who have long-term marriages more likely to also commit to other things & have agreeable personalities which also benefits work and parenting?

And it is unclear that sexual freedom prevents people from getting married anyway. Just means they don't have to remain celibate until they are ready to do that.
