Yes. That's the problem with postmodernism and religion and JPB. Alternative ways of knowing and calling them all truth and going with what feels right.

I don't think we disagree on the point that reality exists. Currently I am not convinced by the reality of metaphysics, except for explanatory power (and even that is limited). Who is winning is less important than who is right.

That is what I mean by winning. Winning at getting things right.

Being right is ambiguous. Making correct predictions in our reality is not a guarantee for being closer to the truth.

Thanks. For me Truth is important and something I think about a lot. But I will not waste many more tweets on it now. And I know by experience that in Science the path to a theory is not as straight as it seems from the outside.

We get a lot wrong on the way. I think we can either wallow in the mess of not being able to be absolutely sure of knowledge or we can accept that knowledge is provisional and that we are fallible and then do our best with the best tools we have got.
