If they hate it & feel bad about it and soul is 'sense of self.' But selling your mind to do something uninspiring can be 'soul-destroying'

"If" ? You can't seriously be comparing tfw you perform an uninspiring job to getting fucked by strangers all day?

They are different, yes, but many sex workers pick that option to avoid the uninspiring job. Coz it doesn't take all day to earn enough.

Have you any first hand experience with ppl from that 'profession'? Please don't refer to the 'happy hooker' myth.

I've known some people at both ends. Have to say only the ones at the high end got much job satisfaction from it. Saw it as an art and profession. I knew more who just did it to make ends meet. Look after each others kids & go out for couple of hours.

Clearly those different categories exist. From my own and others work experience, I've very rarely seen anyone even close to being 'satisfied'. Caged ppl/animals do sometimes come to prefer the confinement though.

But they're not caged. The rationale was that they could earn (at the time) £40 a day working all day in a supermarket or earn it in an hour offering sex. It just pays so much more without taking up the whole day.

It was not their dream job but it was a reasonable choice based on options available to young women with little kids & no qualifications.
