Nope. Am currently addressing this accusation from postmodernists. Criticism of PoMo does *not* require thinking only objective truth matters & personal & cultural narratives have no meaning or moral value. It just requires distinguishing them from each other. We need both.https://twitter.com/ThomasFriedman_/status/929435513932546048 …

You are completely incapable of understanding that the concept of believing in scientific fact and believing that there are truths scientific method cannot examine are compatible. You want to paint them as mutually exclusive when they are not.

Yes. You can claim otherwise but it is clear in the way you double down when backed into the corner. Repeating yourself doesn't change the fact you fail to understand the simple fact that one can believe in science and also believe there are things science cannot do.

Everything can be explained scientifically, that which we cannot currently explain (or perhaps ever)is due to our ignorance not the limitations of science. Otherwise, what, magic?

But you don't always want to explain things. Some things you just want to explore and enjoy and attach subjective meaning to.

Sure, just frightens me how quickly ppl embrace superstition when there is a bump in the night.
