Vet receptionist: Is there any chance he could have eaten something he shouldn't? Me: Did you hear me say he is a puppy? VR: Fair enough.

My poor puppy is really not well. Dehydrated and white blood cell count high. Vet decided against putting him on a drip for now if I can get him to drink throughout afternoon & keep it down. So far, so good.

He's got antibiotics, probiotics, parasite medication and special gastro-intestinal food to eat in tiny amounts every hour mixed with much water. It seems to be working.

He might be allergic to the food we've been giving him because he is underweight despite the fact he's been eating 25% more than recommended for his weight because I thought he was underweight. I thought it'd be safe giving him the same food the breeder gave him. Maybe not. :(

The puppy has had three tiny meals of bland biscuits floating in much water. He slept all day and is now beating up his sister which I think means he feels better.
