      It's only bad data gathering if the aim is to survey the entire range of opinion. Helen is very clear that this was not the aim.

          I'm aware of the problem, yes. It's hardly a secret. I want to fix it because I value the humanities and social sciences. I wanted to find women to share their experiences of it.

          And see how it was affecting lives and careers below the radar. This is not unusual and I doubt you'd be complaining if it was a survey of women experiencing sexual harassment or something & demanding why women who don't experience it or don't think its a problem weren't included
