If women manage to get oppressed on modern day campuses we have no hope. Seriously. Women center in every college, women-only resources in career centers, women-only fellowships, Title IX, higher enrollment rates, higher GPAs, lower dropout rates. And still oppressed? Ridiculous!https://twitter.com/RichardDawkins/status/927912811409395715 …

Agreed. What intellectual oppression of women? Campuses fall themselves to praise us for anything. We're getting over-indulged if anything.

In the article @HPluckrose is discussing oppression of ideas placed on people who don’t accept intersectional ideology. I recommend reading.

Yes. They're not oppressed for being women. They're afraid of the consequences of not accepting intersectional feminist ideas.

That's how I understood the piece as well. Remember, I was rt-ing Dawkins's tweet, not the link to the article.

This part of thread emphasizes importance of the other. It doesn’t matter who is affected - we need to hold our principles primary.

If they are worried about their ideas being rejected, then they don't belong in college at all. It's the wrong place for them. Expect ideas to be challenged in college, especially terrible ones made up to gain supremacy privileges & special treatment over others.

I’m pretty sure you’re taking the opposite position that you believe you’re taking. I suggest you read the article.

Nope. I've read about intersectionality and seen YouTube video propaganda on it. I find it b.s. If their idea is getting rejected in college, so be it. Many ideas get rejected. They aren't entitled to make people believe. That's beyond self-absorbed.

JFC THE ARTICLE OPPOSES INTERSECTIONALITY! 🙄 If you can’t be bothered to read or think, I’m done here.

No shame in misunderstanding a point and arguing against a claim you think being made but to persist when this is clarified for you...?

Yup. Totally my mistake. I made an assumption regarding the 1st tweet i responded to. I'm a huge article reader but I jumped the gun. I've had my fill 10 times over today of SJW bs & I couldn't take the thought of 1 more exposure. My apologies.

No worries. I too am opposed to this aspect of the left and trying to address it.

Well I was a swing voter before the left went off the rails, but I've always been mainly conservative. It was actually going to the CA DNC that pushed me all the way conservative. My experience there put me in shock. The 2 parties didn't used to be that far apart. I wish you luck
