Speaking as an American-born Korean that ends up having to deal with first-gen Korean immigrants who are GenX - baby boomer ages - this is especially frustrating. Yep. Has nothing to do with nationality, it seems. Sounds more like just a generation thing. I can bet you when a lot of us turn that age we'll be just as ornery and forget we made these posts pointing out how ornery our old relatives are.

On top of that, I can kinda understand how he feels about "taking the thing that'll make you better". I'm less than half your dad's age and I have to take "maintenance pills" and occasionally take allergy pills for hives. It's irritating feeling like you're a slave to it.
