Hence the need to associate the centre not only with the right but with the far-right. https://twitter.com/goddoesnt/status/926932757586030592 …

Always suspicious of talk about “far left” in relation to UK politics. Always want to know exactly what positions are being so described

Well, he's not talking about the UK. But we described what we're talking about here:https://areomagazine.com/2017/08/22/a-manifesto-against-the-enemies-of-modernity/amp/ …

Isn't that because the centre always seem to be willing to help the right, but not the left because it's scared of the left?

No, I don't think so. The centre left is more willing to help the centre right than the far-left tho.

I think that is because only the left is trying to change things. The rest just wants to keep up the same system, but in different ways.

It’s also a way of demonising the centre-left, making them the only “real” left-wingers. See momentum etc.

Life is suffering. You know Canada almost put a pro-healthcare libertarian at the head of the Conservative Party? We were SO CLOSE.

Maxime Bernier. Relaxed centre-libertarian. Lost the leadership vote to a bible-right candidate by ~0.02% of the vote (weighted ballot).
