It does prevent them in speaking in threads that you've started (and are RTd), which we seem to disagree on, regarding *ownership*.

Yes. My intellectual property & I will withhold them as I see fit. Of course, people can find a way round this but not on my threads

Yes, my threads. The ones I start. Eg, I can also speak to who I want and hear who I want in a pub even tho it's a public place.

You cannot choose (autonomously) to have the pub throw out other customers merely b/c you are annoyed by them or don't want to hear them.
