Spiders, mostly, are your friends. Not mercenary at all; they keep the house free of more pestilent insects. https://twitter.com/ortoiseortoise/status/926041573338550273 …
Boas are not deadly! They are the Labrador of snakes. Big docile cuddly things!

"Labrador of snakes." "Labrador of snakes." I think I'll stick to the taffeta kind!
-
1/ I wish I could find a photo online, but a funny story instead, about the grand-daughter of Bjelke-Petersen and a boa
-
2/ Bjelke-Petersen was one of Australia's most infamous state-premiers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joh_Bjelke-Petersen …).
-
3/ A bit unfair to hold the grand-father against the grand-daughter, but back then, the wounds were a bit raw still. Any old how:::....
-
4/The grand-daughter became quite a high-flyer of a model. One day she does the catwalk with a boa around her neck. The photos are hilarious
-
5/ Middle of the catwalk, the boa starts getting aggro and squeezing her throat shut. She was quite lucky to survive. No more boas for her.

I'm brash when dealing with humans, but not having had a dog until, oh, my 30s, I'm not alpha to any dog bigger than 6 lbs.
-
Hmm. Leon is not coming up in my notifications.
-
Also, I refuse to accept that this finding about Labradors is accurate. There must be anexplanation & if not, I'm sticking fingers in ears.
-
It doesn't look like a good study. Based on post office statistics if I'm reading it right. I doubt the methodology is sound.

Thank you! *seizes on this*
