Try biking. Easier on the joints and you can coast when you are on the very edge of passing out

Can't cycle at the moment. Too fat. I look forward to getting back into it tho. Used to cycle 12 miles a day for work.

It'll come...good luck!

Good for you! I've just finished crossfit. I'm tired and I feel awesome. I always do after. Exercise gets addictive after a while.
-
I’ll keep both of you in mind as I attempt my new training regime: swimming. Very motivating.

-
Swimming is very good for you. Easy on the joints. Use of many different muscles. Great.
-
Yes, no major issues but I feel I need to go easy on my knees. Hence swimming. I might even take lessons (my technique is poor)

-
Yes, easy on the knees. Kids here get swimming lessons starting at 4/5 yo. They learn technique, diving, floating etc. Very useful.

Yes. Some hate it. But I told my kids it's mandatory. Dutch kids need to swim. Non debatable.
-
Ah yes, as we mentioned before, you Dutch live below sea level. That’s a strong motivator.

Keep it going! Don't let the lack of a physical body stop you from running!

I was running regularly, but gave up on it again. It's so impractical, unless you live in the countryside.
