It says that but it's not that women choose lower stress jobs. Just a different kind of stress. Children & sick people are stressful.

I think it likely that more women are able to handle the stress of children & sick people & still find the work rewarding than men.

Whereas more men might have the patience to work out the cause of a tech problem whilst I'd be inclined to throw it out the window.

No. I have no agenda here. I do not think the pay gap indicates that women are discriminated against & neither do economists.
